REGINA – One of the two teenage boys charged with first degree murder in the death of Hannah Leflar was in court Thursday for a bail hearing.

The court room was packed with emotional supporters for Hannah as they heard details of her death.

The accused himself was also in court. He cannot be named because of his age.

His defense lawyer is arguing he should be let out on bail while he awaits his murder trial.

To date, more than 10,000 people have signed a petition to deny his bail.

The judge has asked for more information before she can make her decision.

Court will resume Tuesday.

It’s expected the crown will ask to have the teenager charged as an adult.
