MONTREAL — The Pointe-Claire community got together on Saturday to raise funds for seven-month-old Chloe Byer, who suffers from a rare form of brain cancer.

Her parents, Robert Byer and Christina Carrier, have been struggling to make ends meet after Chloe’s diagnosis last January. Since then, Chloe has spent most of her life in hospital with her parents caring for her.
Chloe has her own Gofundme campaign where her family has so far raised $12,945 of its $75,000 goal.
