LAKE COUNTRY, B.C. — The RCMP is now investigating a grass fire that started in Lake Country, on Sherman Drive and Copper Hill Road, behind Peter Greer Elementary School.

Lake Country fire crews but believe the fire was human caused, and have passed on the investigation to the RCMP.
Heavy smoke could be seen throughout much of Lake Country.
BC Wildfire crews were also called in to assist with the fight.
