WINNIPEG – A light sprinkling of snow covered some gardens and windshields Friday morning in southern Manitoba as unseasonably cool temperatures returned.
The high Friday was only forecast to reach 7 C in Winnipeg, well below the normal of 18 C for May 8.
The cool temperatures are expected to stay through the weekend and into early next week, with a high of 9 C forecast for Saturday and 10 C on Mother’s Day in Winnipeg.
