UPDATE: Richard Fedyck’s court appearance has been put over so that his lawyers can obtain more information from the Crown.
A B.C. photographer accused of hitting actor Ryan Reynolds with his car in Vancouver is scheduled to make a court appearance today.
Fifty-two-year-old Richmond resident Richard ‘Rik’ Fedyck is accused of criminally harassing Reynolds and hitting him in an incident at a Vancouver parking lot last month.
Fedyck has been charged with assault with a weapon, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and criminal harassment.
The alleged hit and run in the parking garage of the Shangri-La Hotel residences took place on April 10, but prosecutors alleged Fedyck started harassing Reynolds at the end of February.

Reynolds was not seriously hurt in the incident. He was in his native Vancouver to film the movie Deadpool.
Fedyck was released from custody after posting a $1,000 bail. He made his first court appearance last month. Fedyck said nothing as he left the courthouse, but previously called the accusation that he hit Reynolds with his car “100 per cent false.”
He has been ordered by a judge to stay away from the actor and his family.
