CALGARY – How do you say “Happy Star Wars Day”? The answer is “I do” for one Calgary couple who tied the knot Monday morning, May the 4th–which of course sounds like “May the force,” hence “Star Wars Day.”

He remembers getting goose bumps in the theatre, but his bride Stacy remembers getting cold feet when he suggested a Star Wars-themed wedding. She eventually agreed to a compromise of costumed guests for their reception in July.

That compromise also included the presence of various Star Wars collectibles at Monday’s wedding.

Dave’s hoping Stacy will come to the reception dressed as Princess Leia.

He’s not sure yet which character he’ll go with for the occasion.
