Winnipeg – Police have now identified the hit and run victim involved in a crash Saturday night.
According to Constable Eric Hofley, the family saw the description of the person hit and called police to confirm his identity. Police are not releasing his name.
Shortly after 11:30 PM Saturday, emergency crews were called to Inkster Boulevard and Bunting Street.
When crews arrived, they found a man, unconscious, suffering from injuries in an apparent hit and run crash.
The man was transported to hospital in critical condition.
At this time, police have also not located the suspect vehicle. There is no description available, but it is believed there is substantial damage on the vehicle’s windshield.
