UPDATE: Man pleads guilty to manslaughter in death of Monica Burns
PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. – A man accused of killing a woman and dumping her body on a snowmobile trail in northern Saskatchewan has pleaded not guilty. Todd McKeaveney is charged with second-degree murder in the death of Monica Burns, 28.

Her body was found outside of Prince Albert on Jan. 17.
McKeaveney, 38, elected to be tried by judge and jury. A preliminary hearing is set to begin Sept. 28.

RCMP have said McKeaveney and Burns didn’t know each other.
