The Wildrose Party’s Glenn van Dijken has been elected in the riding of Barrhead-Morinville-Westlock. He’ll replace PC candidate Maureen Kubinec. The riding of Barrhead-Morinville-Westlock is northwest of Edmonton and has been Conservative since it was created in 2003.

If Kubinec had been re-elected, it would have been her a second term.
Candidates:
- Progressive Conservative – Maureen Kubinec (incumbent)
- NDP – Tristan Turner
- Wildrose – Glenn van Dijken
