Alberta Election 2015: After a tight race, PC’s Richard Gotfried takes Calgary-Fish Creek

Calgary-Fish Creek will be represented by PC candidate Richard Gotfried in the Alberta legislature. It was a tight race between Gotfried and NDP candidate Jill Moreton, with Wildrose’s Blaine Maller not far behind.

The Calgary-Fish Creek riding has been dominated by the Tories since 1979. Heather Forsyth was elected in Calgary-Fish Creek as a PC member in 1993, but crossed the floor to Wildrose in 2010 and eked out a victory by 38 votes in 2012.
