HALIFAX – The Nova Scotia government says it will act on recommendations in reports released today that call for the expansion or twinning of some sections of highways 101, 103 and 104.
Transportation Minister Geoff MacLellan says he agrees with the recommendations in the reports, which deal with highway design, signage, vegetation, speed limits, traffic volumes and other data.

MacLellan says he has instructed his staff to draft a plan to implement the changes.
He says some of the changes will be included in the department’s spring and summer maintenance schedule.
