MONTREAL – Residents living west of the island of Montreal – namely in Pincourt, St. Lazare and Valleyfield – woke up Saturday morning to a loud boom.
But it wasn’t an earthquake or an unexpected explosion.
It was actually a controlled detonation at a General Dynamics ammunition plant in Valleyfield.
