REGINA – A blustery forecast for southern Saskatchewan has prompted the Water Security Agency to issue a warning about potentially unsafe conditions near local shorelines.

With wind gusts between 50-70 km/h forecast for the next several days, there is concern that large sheets of ice could be pushed towards the shores of local bodies of water.

These large sheets of ice pose a potential threat to property and public safety. Residents living along shorelines are advised to move any property they think could be at risk.
