Allan Entwistle was last seen at the Centennial Centre in Ponoka on April 11th, 2015.

The 64-year-old suffers from Parkinson’s disease, which can limit his comprehension and navigation skills.

“When I called Centennial Centre… they told me that my dad went off of his unit, which was a locked-down unit, around 5 p.m. on Saturday on a half-an-hour privilege,” explains daughter Erin Entwistle. “He did not return after that half an hour.”

Allen’s family is concerned for the man’s safety, and says they’ve been looking for him in Ponoka and Wetaskiwin.

“I love him so much and I hope he knows that. Wherever he is, I hope he knows that.”

“I’ve been using Facebook as much as I can, and asking all my friends to share my post that he is missing,” adds Erin. “I’ve used Twitter… so it’s getting around on Twitter.”

Erin worries her father may have tried to hitchhike.

“I had spoken to my dad several times last week and he kept reiterating that he was leaving, he was done, he had to get out of there.”

“In the past, he’s talked about coming here to Calgary, where I live… he’s also talked a lot about going to the family cottage in Saskatchewan at Turtle Lake. His sister lives in Turtleford, Saskatchewan. He may have tried to go home to Gleniffer Lake.”

Allan is described as:

  • 6’0” tall
  • 180 lbs.
  • Bald with grey hair on sides, grey mustache
  • Blue eyes
  • Usually wearing brown leather jacket

Anyone with information on Entwistle’s whereabouts is asked to contact Ponoka RCMP at 403-783-4472 or call Crime Stoppers.
