One man is dead after an accident at a large construction site at Metrotown in Burnaby.
RCMP say officers were called to the worksite just before 4 p.m. yesterday.

Investigators say the 29-year-old construction worker had fallen three stories down an elevator shaft.
Crews performed CPR on the man, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are still notifying the victim’s family, so his name is not being released at this point.
BC Coroner’s service and WorkSafeBC are both investigating.
