EDMONTON – The Edmonton Oilers have come to terms with centre Anton Lander on a two year contract extension.

Lander, 23, has played 33 games with the Oilers this season, posting six goals and 11 assists, both career highs. He has 25 points in 127 career NHL games.

The Sweden native has also played 29 games with the AHL’s Oklahoma City Barons this season, accumulating 31 points. He’s posted 108 points in 136 career AHL games.

Lander was selected by the Oilers in the 2nd round in the 2009 NHL draft.
