Holloway Lodging REIT says Glen Squires has resigned as chief executive

HALIFAX – Holloway Lodging Real Estate Investment Trust (TSX:HLR.UN), a Halifax-based hotel owner, says that Glenn Squires has resigned as CEO of the company effective Dec. 31.

Holloway said Monday that Squires will become CEO of Pacrim Hospitality Services Inc., a Halifax sister company which manages Holloway’s hotels.

Squires co-founded Holloway in 2005 and helped grow the company to include 20 hotels in smaller markets and about 670 employees.
