Police recover $300,000 worth of stolen goods, search for 2nd suspect

CALGARY- The Calgary Police Service is seeking public assistance to return $300,000 worth of recovered goods found in a southeast Calgary home as well as help to locate a suspect in the investigation.

In the process of responding to a complaint call in the 200 block of McKerrell Way S.E. made Feb. 5 , police found over 600 stolen items, which are believed to have been taken from various parkade storage units across the city.

Anyone who recognizes the property as their own should contact the District 8 office at 403-428-6800.

Police have currently charged Justin Cecil Scott with seven firearms offences, including contravening the firearms act, possessing an unlicenced weapon, possessing a restricted/prohibited weapon, possessing a weapon with the serial number altered or removed, according to police.

Police are asking for the public’s help to locate a second suspect: Ryan Kori Callahan, 33, is wanted on warrants in connection to the seizures and various other offences.

Callahan is described as a Caucasian, 5’9″ with brown hair, brown eyes and a slim build.  He has tattoos of a fish and tiger on his left forearm, a dragon on his upper left arm, and Buddha on his upper right arm.
