SASKATOON – Multiple charges have been laid in connection with three armed robberies that took place in March. Saskatoon police now have four suspects in custody.
Officers conducted a high-risk traffic stop early Monday morning and arrested a 40-year-old woman. She is facing 11 charges including robbery, wearing a disguise, breach of an undertaking and possession of cocaine.
Investigators looked into an armed robbery that occurred at a bank on 8th Street East March 15.
A victim reported being at the ATM when he was approached by two suspects. The male suspect had a steak knife while the female suspect, armed with a handgun, demanded cash and the victim’s ID before both fleeing the Royal Bank of Canada.

Following the woman’s arrest Monday, two teenagers were brought into custody. A third suspect, age 16, turned himself in to police Wednesday morning.
A 17-year-old suspect is facing two counts of robbery, wearing a disguise and breach of an undertaking. Two teens, aged 18 and 16, both face a charge of robbery and wearing a disguise.

The Saskatoon Police Service says two similar robberies occurred in March.
The first occurred on March 9 at a gas station on 8th Street East. Two suspects threatened an employee with what looked like a gun and then fled with cash.
Officers were also called to an armed robbery on March 12 at a Tim Hortons on Primrose Drive. Three masked suspects, using a gun and a knife, robbed the business of an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the scene.
No injuries were reported by police.
