SASKATOON – A man using an ATM in Saskatoon late Sunday evening ended up handing money over to a pair of robbers. The man was using the ATM at a financial institution in the 2800-block of 8th Street around 11:30 p.m. when he was approached by a man and woman.
The man threatened the victim with a steak knife while the woman demanded cash and his identification. The woman was armed with a handgun. The thieves then fled in what is believed to be a pickup truck.
The man is described as First Nations, five-foot ten with a slim build. He was dressed in black and was wearing a mask.
The woman is believed to be Caucasian, between five-foot two- and four-inches, heavy set with reddish blond hair. She was also dressed in black.
The victim was not physically injured in during the robbery.
