EDMONTON – The Canadian Food Inspection Agency announced a national recall Saturday for ground cumin. The manufacturer, Nador Inc., said the spice contains almonds, an ingredient not indicated on the label.

Authorities fear someone could suffer an allergic reaction.
The manufacturer is recalling Signal, No Name, Sunspun and Irresistables brand ground cumin.
The CFIA says consumers should either throw the product out or return it to the store where it was purchased.
