Surrey RCMP are investigating what appears to have been a targeted shooting in Newton Tuesday night.
Gunshots were heard at 78 Ave. and 127 St. just before 7 p.m. Neighbours tell Global News they heard as many as 20 shots.
According to RCMP, a 21-year-old Surrey man was struck inside his car with shots fired from another vehicle.
The victim, who was known to police, was picked up by a third vehicle and transported to hospital.
Police say they are speaking to the victim and the other four males associated with two of the vehicles involved in the incident. The suspect vehicle has not been located.
