SYDNEY, N.S. – Cape Breton Regional Police say a 35-year-old man faces charges after another man was allegedly threatened during a hockey tournament.
Police say they responded to a report of a verbal dispute at the County Arena in Coxheath on Sunday.
Police say it’s alleged a man threatened another saying he would return to the rink with a firearm.
A man was arrested without incident outside of the arena.
Officers later conducted a search at a home in Membertou and seized a weapon and some ammunition.
Police say a man faces charges of uttering threats and possession of a prohibited firearm.
