REGINA – A new Real Canadian Superstore is going to anchor the $30 million redevelopment of the aging Golden Mile Shopping Centre.
“I think it will be a big attraction,” said Richard Michaeloff, CEO and president of Retrocom Real Estate Investment Trust. “We really weren’t seeing the kind of traffic we’d like to coming to the centre. I think with the Superstore coming in, I think that will change dramatically.”

Construction is expected to begin this spring; the 92,000-square-foot store is scheduled to be open in 2017.
Construction will be complete in phases to allow stores to open earlier. By the spring of 2018, the final phase should be complete.
