HAUPPAUGE, N.Y. – Consumer electronics maker Audiovox Corp. said Monday that it is changing its name to Voxx International Corp. to better reflect the diversity of its business.

In addition to audio systems, Voxx’s products range from in-car video systems to portable DVD players, set-top boxes and a slew of other electronics.
The company will continue to trade on the Nasdaq under the ticker symbol “VOXX.”
