Saskatoon motorist were restricted Sunday morning after a police convoy escorted a trailer carrying hazardous waste through the city.
The hazardous materials left a business located in the 3200- block of Millar Avenue at approximately 10:45 a.m.

Emergency vehicles assisted in the safe transport to a disposal site located in the northeast end of Saskatoon.
Saskatoon police said patrol units were restricting traffic at various intersections to protect the public from an unanticipated detonation.
Members of the Saskatoon Police Service Explosive Disposal Unit were in attendance.
The nature of the hazardous waste was not disclosed.
