EDMONTON – Alberta Liberal Laurie Blakeman is primed for another election run in her Edmonton-Centre constituency.
Blakeman confirms she has been acclaimed as the candidate for the riding she has represented since 1997.
She has become a high-profile advocate for equal rights and has fought to allow students to form gay-straight alliances in schools.
