WINNIPEG – Police are continuing to investigate several stabbings on Sargent Avenue that happened early Saturday morning.
Police arrived at the scene at about 5:45 a.m. and found numerous people with injuries.

One person was in critical condition and taken to the Health Sciences Centre. Officers say several others were also involved in the incident.
Emergency crews were on scene and the area was taped off for further investigation.
At around the same time, police were also guarding a suspect vehicle on Portage Avenue. There is no word if the incidents are related.
Police are not releasing any additional information at the moment.
