Prince Albert police looking for suspects after employee assaulted

An employee was assaulted during a robbery at a Prince Albert business early Sunday morning. File / Global News

PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. – An employee was assaulted at a business in Prince Albert, Sask. early Sunday morning. Police were initially called to the 2800-block of 6th Avenue East at around 6:30 a.m. for a reported robbery.

Officers tended to the employee who was not seriously injured during the incident. Investigators determined that four men entered the business and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

A police canine unit was brought out to the scene but was unsuccessful. The investigation is still ongoing.
