TORONTO – The eastbound lanes of Highway 403 at Waterdown Road in Burlington have reopened following a fatal crash early Wednesday morning.
Ontario Provincial Police say a female driver was ejected from her vehicle when she somehow ended up in the centre median ditch and was struck by an oncoming car just after 3 a.m.
The victim was pronounced dead on scene.

The eastbound lanes were closed for several hours for the investigation but reopened at 7:30 a.m.
