Vodka recall is expanded

A week after a national recall of a Woody’s vodka drink over fears of glass fragments, Ontario’s liquor control board is now expanding the order.  The original recall affected only Woody’s brand Mexican Lime Alcoholic Vodka Beverage.  But late yesterday, the L-C-B-O expanded the recall to include 10 more Woody’s flavours after glass particles were found in some bottles.  The 10 products being recalled include four-bottle packs of Woody’s Orangetini Orange Vodka Cooler and Pomtini Vodka & Pomegranate Cooler, as well as the Woody’s 12-bottle mixed Party.
