TORONTO – An 18-year-old has been charged with the murder of his father who was found dead in their apartment near the Yonge St. and Finch Avenue area.
Police were called late Saturday night after a body was discovered in one of the suites of a condo building at 39 Pemberton Avenue. They say after arriving at the apartment, they found a man suffering from obvious signs of blunt force trauma and no vital signs.
The victim has been identified as 61-year-old Aloy Onochie. Police confirmed Sunday morning that the incident was being investigated as a homicide.
