REGINA – A suspicious package, later determined not to be dangerous, resulted in police blocking off part of a busy downtown road for hours Friday night after it was found under a cruiser.

Part of the 2100 block of Saskatchewan Drive, between Broad and Albert Streets, was cordoned off at around 9 p.m.
The Explosives Disposal Unit was called in; members eventually determined the bag was not dangerous.
Police continue to investigate but are not releasing what was inside the bag.
