Wall was in the Battlefords on Thursday trying to round up support for Saskatchewan Party candidate Herb Cox, who is hoping to take out New Democrat Len Taylor.

Taylor was first elected in 2003 and served as minister of government relations and health in the previous NDP government.

Wall boasted about his party’s investments in the area to a luncheon crowd.

He said the Saskatchewan Party government has more than doubled municipal revenue sharing, provided funding for upgrades and invested millions in highways projects in the Battlefords.
