KAMLOOPS, B.C. – The man accused of shooting a Mountie in Kamloops during a traffic stop and is facing several charges appeared in court yesterday.

Kenneth Knutson, 36, has been charged with various offences involving aggravated assault, alleged use of a firearm along with attempted murder in the December 3 shooting of Corporal Jean Michaud.

Michaud is still in hospital recovering from critical injuries.
