Police are on scene in Yale this morning investigating a suspicious death.
Members of the Hope RCMP detachment rushed to the 31200-block of Front Street and discovered the body of an adult female outside the home.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team was called in and took over the investigation.
IHIT investigators, RCMP officers and the Lower Mainland’s Forensic Identification Section are in the early stages of conducting a crime scene investigation. Due to the remote area of the scene, there are few details available at this time, IHIT Sgt. Bari Emam said in a statement.
Investigators are asking for assistance from anyone who was in the area between the early evening hours of Dec. 14 to 11 p.m. on Dec. 15 and whether they saw any suspicious people or vehicles.
