HALIFAX – Police are on the scene of a Bedford park that is still coping with the aftermath of this week’s rain storm.
Fish Hatchery Park remains closed due to the over-flowing Sackville River.
Water continues to gush over the banks and areas of the park are flooded over.
Police are asking people to avoid the park and stay away from riverbanks to avoid being swept into the rushing water.
There is no word yet on when the park will re-open.
