On Thursday, a judge found him not guilty of criminal harassment and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.

This trial is significant because had Venn been convicted, it could have been the case that took his freedom away for good – if the Crown made a dangerous offender application.

Venn is a repeat sex offender and diagnosed psychopath, convicted of breaking into the homes of his victims and sexually assaulting them.
