Al Simmons brings young fun to Global Winnipeg’s Morning News

WATCH: Al Simmons wakes up the Morning News crew before the show.

Over 40 years of entertaining kids of all ages and it’s easy to see why. Al Simmons is still young at heart and it was a pleasure to have him on the Morning News as a guest host.

Al took part in every part of our show and made us laugh every step of the way. He had gizmos that made music, gadgets built into his hats, and he built them all.

Getting to see Al’s house was particularly interesting. His home is built from two old train cars and he’s outfitted his house with a fire pole and a zip line, among other things. With the amenities he’s built in, you can imagine his kids and grandkids found his home as entertaining as summer camp.
