The winner will also receive a one-year design studio at TFI sponsored by TNT boutique and a full-page editorial in Flare Magazine.

“The cash award of $25,000 is a phenomenal prize that could be used towards the production and development of a line, marketing or hiring an assistant,” said reigning New Labels winner Golnaz Ashtiani in a release.

In 2012, the organization will mark its 25th anniversary supporting and growing Canadian fashion businesses, fostering homegrown talents like Ashtiani, David Dixon, Joeffer Caoc and Arthur Mendonca. All four designers recently showed spring-summer 2012 collections at Toronto’s LG Fashion Week.
