MONTREAL — Approximately 188,000 Hydro-Quebec customers were affected by power outages on Thursday.
The electricity provider said that the service interruptions were related to problems with two lines on its transmission grid.
By late Thursday evening fewer than 3,000 customers were still without power.
Hydro-Quebec expects to restore power to all its customers by Friday morning.
