WINNIPEG – A man who didn’t have enough money to pay for his purchase at an Ellice Avenue shop allegedly returned later in the evening to assault and rob the store’s owner.

Evan Daniel Abraham and Ronald Valentine Abraham allegedly physically assaulted a store owner before throwing the till on the floor and running off with merchandise.

The robbery took place a few hours after the initial encounter at 8:30 p.m. on Dec. 1, when a man had argued with the owner after he didn’t have enough money to pay for everything he wanted.
