VANCOUVER – For some in the Lower Mainland there will be huge delays around the Second Narrows Bridge this morning.
Traffic is backed up on Highway 1, Hastings Street, Lougheed Highway and Georgia Street in Vancouver, along with many smaller routes.

There are also long delays on the North Shore and the Lions Gate Bridge is backed up on Georgia from Richards Street.
Earlier this morning a truck carrying a crane broke down and blocked the northbound lands on the bridge. The highway has now been cleared but the heavy volume is expected to continue for some time.
Drivers are urged to leave more time to get to work or their destination.
