Edmonton woman facing mischief charges

EDMONTON – Edmonton police have laid several charges against a woman in connection with a number of alleged break and enters and an attempted sexual assault. Police say four incidents allegedly happened in southeast Edmonton, in the area of 20 Avenue and 49 Street, between June 10 and Sept. 18.

A fifth incident was reported at a home in Pigeon Lake on Sept. 23.

After an investigation, detectives arrested and charged a 33-year-old Edmonton woman with five counts of public mischief and one count of possession of a weapon.

The identity of the woman has not been released.
