TORONTO – The executive producer of “Q” is leaving the CBC radio show in the aftermath of the ongoing scandal involving its former host, Jian Ghomeshi.
A CBC spokesman says Arif Noorani will return to work at the public broadcaster on Monday but will be working on a different radio show.

The spokesman says the move comes at the request of Noorani, who is currently on a leave of absence.
There are no details about what show he will work on or who will replace him, but he will retain the title of executive producer.
The CBC fired Ghomeshi Oct. 26. It later said the move came after it viewed what it termed “graphic evidence” that he had caused injury to a woman.
Noorani has denied knowing of an allegation by a former producer that the “Q” host had sexually harassed her at work.
