UPDATE: All advisories mentioned in this story have ended
Let it snow – parts Saskatchewan have been coated with the white stuff overnight and into Monday morning as the first snowfall of the season moves through the province.
As of 6 a.m., Maidstone had received 16 cm of snow, with 14 cm in Spiritwood, 9 cm in North Battleford and Prince Albert, and Meadow Lake receiving 7 cm.
A special weather statement was in place for the Prince Albert, North Battleford and Meadow Lake regions this morning as the system moved out of those areas. Those have been lifted by Environment Canada.
A snowfall warning remains in place in the La Ronge and Pelican Narrows regions, with up to 10 cm expected.
Snowfall in those areas is expected to taper off this afternoon as the system moves northward.
