WINNIPEG — The young musicians who form The Revival have already had to deal with some major challenges in their musical careers and personal lives.
The band’s original drummer, Alex “Dee” Danyliuk, passed away suddenly in April 2013 at age 22. Danyliuk had Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome, which causes heart arrhythmia and tachycardias.

The Revival has carried on and has hosted benefit concerts in their bandmate’s honour, with money raised going towards scholarships for young aspiring drummers.
