WATCH: Penticton Indian Band’s $4M health facility opened

PENTICTON, B.C. – After four years of planning and construction, the Okanagan’s newest health care facility is now open for business.

The $4-million centre is called Snxastwilxtn Centre, which means a place to heal, is funded equally by the First Nations Health Authority and the Penticton Indian Band.

The facility offers services which tackle physical, mental and spiritual health.

The health centre is open to members of the PIB, as well as any first nations member living on a reserve.
