CALGARY – Advance polls in Alberta’s byelection open on Wednesday.
Electors in four ridings have the opportunity to vote for a member of the Legislative Assembly, including Calgary-Elbow, Calgary-Foothills, Calgary-West and Edmonton-Whitemud.
Advance polls are open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. from Wednesday, October 22nd until Saturday, October 25th.

You’re eligible to vote in the byelection if you are:
- 18 years of age or older on Voting Day
- a Canadian citizen
- have been ordinarily resident in Alberta for the six months immediately preceding Voting Day.
