Fire from stolen vehicle spreads to Saskatchewan bridge

CUT KNIFE, Sask. – Saskatchewan RCMP are seeking the public’s help in finding the people responsible for setting fire to a stolen vehicle near a bridge last week.

Just before midnight on Oct. 17, firefighters responded at the ‘Old Buzzards Bridge’ in the R.M. of Manitou Lake.

Police say the unknown suspect(s) set fire to a vehicle stolen from Lloydminster.

The fire expanded to the bridge it was parked close to and both the vehicle and a portion of the bridge’s wooden structure were destroyed.
